My Messy Kids

I think that when I became a parent I had no real idea of what ‘mess’ was, the first few months mess became the smelly nappies and milk sick, it was followed very quickly by weaning faces covered in mush
My Messy Kids The Oliver\\\'s MadhouseI now have one toddler that is a total mess magnet, within seconds my little guy can make even the tidiest room look like some kind of twister has been in there for a day and a half.

With the teen it’s now mess … full stop … messy room … messy mirrors from makeup smudges … messy bathroom and to top it off messy hair as she now learns to ‘style’ her own hair … although thankfully there will more practice on this front I am sure!

Sometimes it’s not the kids in this house that can be the messiest, however my husband can be far messier than both of them put together .. or to even be a wind up merchant with mess:

My Messy Kids The Oliver\\\'s Madhouseplease note that no tot was harmed in the above!

Sometimes when I am super lucky I can have help with cleaning and tidying the home and garden, it doesn’t happen often but when it does I have to jump on it and try to nurture it like I am weaning a little bird … It doesn’t always work but at least I try.
My Messy Kids The Oliver\\\'s MadhouseNow I just need to convince them to help sort out the mess more often!

I haven’t quite hit the teen scene yet but between myself, husband and three children under 6 our house is pretty messy!! We have just introduced a chore chart to try and encourage them to help – we will see if it works
