If you are a regular reader you will know that I love a good gadget and anything that can help save me time is a winner with me but having spotted a number of robotic vacuums on the market I genuinely wondered if they were really for show or could handle the day to day mess that a family can create.
So recently I was asked if I would like to take the Eufy RoboVac 11 for a test run in our house with our kids to see if it could keep up with the muck monsters that I have here.
When it arrived it was really easy to put together with the dust collector, edge brushes and inserting batteries into the remote control that comes with it with.
We set the charging base up and set the RoboVac up charge and then set up the remote control so we could set up some of its functions. A full charge gives the RoboVac approximately 100 minutes of cleaning time and it even returns to the base by itself when its time to recharge again.
The remote control was easy to work and made setting up the automatic cleaning schedule really simple which is great as we set up a schedule and we just let it get one with cleaning while we got on with life.
The RoboVoc glides underneath bed and sofas and made short work of cleaning up under our TV cabinet and with its large 0.6L dustbox I didnt have to empty it as often as I thought I would have to and the emptying was really easy too.
Normally introducing a new gadget into the house means that there can be some teething troubles and issues but this beauty has slotted easily into our lives and in fact it has meant that upstair floor cleaning is the thing of the past is it lives up there at weekends and down stairs during the week. It has taken a mundane task off my to do list and I am so immensely happy about that. The only slight thing you need to take into consideration is that the charging dock needs some space around it for the RoboVac to be able to easily get back on its charger.
I love the whole idea of being able to let this get on with the mundane vacuuming while I can be doing something else which is great in my book.
