Careers that Will Keep You In Shape

Careers that Will Keep You In Shape The Oliver\\\'s MadhouseWhen you have a family, you really don’t get all too much spare time on your hands. You’ll find that you’re constantly running around after someone, organising something, or getting something done.

From the work to the school run to after school clubs and activities, it’s not all too surprising that many of us start to fall behind on our exercise regime.

It’s generally recommended that the average adult gets 150 minutes of moderate aerobic exercise a week or 75 minutes of vigorous aerobic exercise a week. Many parents find that they just aren’t hitting these targets – mainly because they’re either busy or want to relax with the few spare moments they get.

So what can you do to make sure you’re leading as healthy a lifestyle as possible without having to completely sacrifice time that could be used somewhere else? Well, you could always consider pursuing a healthy and active career. This will help you to fit exercise into your routine at the same time as getting paid.

Essentially, you can get paid to work out in one way or another when you’d otherwise just be sat in an office or other working environment. If this sounds good to you, here are a couple of options that could suit you down to a tee!

Personal Trainer

Personal training is an extremely physically active career. Of course, you’ll have to get in shape yourself first. You will also have to do a personal training course of sorts. But once this is done, you can find yourself exercising all working day, every working day. What’s more? This is an extremely rewarding career in general. You can help to turn other people’s lives around, helping to get them in shape and improving their overall wellbeing.Careers that Will Keep You In Shape The Oliver\\\'s Madhouse

PE Teacher

If you like the sound of personal training, but are interested in working with children and improving children’s lives, you might want to consider becoming a PE teacher. This way, you take on a teaching role that incorporates activity. You’ll spend a lot of time demonstrating and joining in with activities at the same time as nurturing the next generation!

Jobs with Perks

If you’d like a career that keeps you in shape, but where you don’t have to find yourself exercising day in and day out, you might want to consider a completely unrelated job with health perks. Many employers offer to pay for employee gym memberships or fitness sessions, such as boot camp training or yoga. This means you can follow a different career path, but get to work out courtesy of your employer too!

These are just a few ideas to get the ball rolling in the right direction. There are plenty more active careers out there if you’re interested! Hopefully, the above examples have helped to inspire you and have given you just a few options to take into consideration!
