Considering Caravanning in Gloucestershire this summer? Chipping Sodbury Caravans Have Got You Covered!

Considering Caravanning in Gloucestershire this summer? Chipping Sodbury Caravans Have Got You Covered! The Oliver\\\'s MadhouseIt’s never too early to start planning your next caravan holiday or even embarking upon you first. If you’re considering spending time in the West Country this summer why not pay a visit to Chipping Sodbury Caravans.

Gloucestershire is truly one of the most beautiful parts of the U.K. to visit. From the Cotswold’s golden limestone hills to the Forest of Dean’s wild valleys, there is something for everyone. A popular caravanning destination, here are the top three places to visit in the region in order to have the best caravanning experience:

#1 Chipping Sodbury Caravans

Chipping Sodbury Caravans is a second-generation, family-run business specialising in the well-known Bailey’s caravans. If you’re holidaying in the area it’s a great address to have, as they can cater to all your caravan and motorhome needs. With a well-stocked shop of caravan accessories, as well as all of the latest Bailey’s of Bristol accessories, you’ll be sure to find just what you’re looking for. If you don’t currently own a caravan, not to worry! They are specialists in this area and often have caravans for sale, from touring caravans to the latest motorhomes. With picturesque walks, historic sites and good pub lunches available nearby, there’s lots to do and see.

#2 Tudor Caravan Park

Once you’re all geared up and ready to hit the road, it’s time to think about where you’re headed! A great caravan destination is Tudor Caravan Park, voted one of the best caravan campsites in Gloucestershire. An ideal base for exploring the Cotswolds, it has good access to some idyllic villages and countryside, whether you’re hiking along the Severn Way, which runs just next to it, or going for a gentle stroll.  Stroud’s famous farmer’s market and Westonbirt Arboretum are in easy reach.  You can also find your usual amenities at the park including WIFI, shower blocks and even a fishing lake.

#3 Forest and Wye Valley Camping Site

If you’re more interested in discovering the very famous forest of Dean then you may prefer a trip to Forest and Wye Valley camping. Forest and Wye is a family run camping surrounded by acres of beautiful woodlands and flowing rivers. Whether you want to go by foot, bike or canoe, sites such as Symond’s Yat and Tintern Abbey, of Wordsworth fame, are well worth exploring. It also comes with all of the necessary amenities such as a heated shower block, laundry room and a cafe.

#Bonus Tips

If you’re looking for extra gear for your camping don’t forget to check out Bailey’s prima leisure store. A great place to find all things caravanning, from Bailey parts to all of the amenities you might need to have the perfect trip.  Another great tip is to get the gear you need out of season; winter is a great time to get the best discounts. Finally, just remember to have fun, you’ve done all the hard work now and it’s time to enjoy your holiday.
