Holiday Kids Shopping Guide

Holiday Kids Shopping Guide The Oliver\\\'s Madhouse
Have you got a family holiday planned this summer?

I bet you’ve been thinking about the clothes you’ll be buying, ready to pack and take with you wherever you are going? Kids clothes can be so daunting to pack, just what exactly do they need?

You often end up packing way more than you need, just to make sure you are covered for every eventuality.

I’ve chosen some items that are perfect for kids this holiday season. What stuff have you been buying in preparation for your holiday, if any?

Pretty dresses

Now there are so many pretty dresses out there this season and they’re all perfect for this weather, light and floaty. The material is light and good quality and perfect for these hot days.

I’ve been looking at the brand Tutto Piccolo on the Strawberry Children website at the moment and have seen some gorgeous dresses that are perfect for the heat – the Girls Stripe Pale Pink Dress is a particular favourite!

Shorts

There is a reason you see so many children in shorts at this time of year and that is because they are so comfy and made with good quality material that doesn’t cause the wearer to overheat.

You can get different types of shorts too – you can even get swim shorts for the pool or the beach – so a few pairs of shorts should definitely be on the list when it comes to holiday shopping.

Short Sleeved Tops

There is nothing worse than long sleeved tops in the summer – short sleeved tops are definitely the way to go.

Choosing ones that are made from light material is the best idea as you want to make sure your children are comfortable and that their clothes aren’t clinging to them because of the heat.

Something that is even better for summer and suitable for holiday shopping are vest tops. These are perfect for lazing around the pool, taking a dip in the pool or just if it is simply too hot to wear anything else.

They may not be the most smart of clothing so best suited to days out rather than a meal in a nice restaurant but comfort is key over everything else.

Dungarees

These may sound to heavy for summer but you can actually get dungarees made in lighter material than those you may be accustomed to. Paired with a light short sleeved top, this makes a great outfit for little ones, no matter what they are doing and ensures that they don’t get too hot too.

I hope this helps you with some of your holiday shopping for kids this summer – I know just how much of a daunting task that can be! I hope you have a fantastic summer, doing plenty of things you love!
