Is It Time To Move Closer To The Sea?

Is It Time To Move Closer To The Sea? The Oliver\\\'s MadhouseIf the last few years have taught us anything, it is that we shouldn’t be putting things off. The dream trip to an international location, the private wine tasting or painting classes, and finding your forever home in a completely new place.

There has been an uptake in the number of people who have decided they want to move closer to the sea. It might not be sea views from the front window – but it is a lot closer than they are now.

So what are the reasons that you might want to uproot and head closer to the beach?

Views

The closer you get, the better the view you’re going to have. But typically, the closer you get, the less close the houses are together and the higher the chances you are going to see either seaside or some greenery.

Is It Time To Move Closer To The Sea? The Oliver\\\'s Madhouse

There are a couple of places that are highly noted for their natural beauty, including Dorset, many of the fishing villages and towns in the northeast of Scotland and Kent. However, there are stunning places all over the coast to be explored.

You can check out property sales to give you an idea of how diverse the housing is and how close you can get to your ideal view.

Fresh air

While cities offer a lot of activities and the hustle and bustle, the seaside encourages people to get outside. The air is fresher and much more enjoyable. Perhaps one of the most noticeable things when you head on a coastal holiday, is how fresh the air feels – that could be your everyday life!

Slower pace

While there will be peak tourist times, most often, there is a much slower pace of life in coastal towns since there are usually many office buildings and massive shopping centres, and people generally commute to work. Leaving the town quiet and slow for the rest of the time.

If you are looking for a slower pace, it can get much slower than living in a seaside town.

Community

Depending on the size of the coastal region you head to, you might be in for an exciting surprise. Often the community will come together for events, church fares, and more. There are, of course, much larger seaside places like Blackpool, which is a hub of activity all the time.

There are many options, and if you are looking for somewhere with people around that can become part of your close-knit community, smaller towns and villages are ideal.

Family

We all have that family member that works too hard and needs a real break. Not to mention as we get older, we are likely to have grandchildren. Having a seaside home that can be used for a visit is some of the most luxurious things that a family can have. Coastal homes can be kept in the family for years, and they can be a means to allow your family and extended family to leave their inner city life for a short while – or pass it on to them when you pass.

Moving closer to the seaside offers a lot when it comes to lifestyle – and there is a lot to be said about how much relaxation you can get from it.

A significant change like this is often on the minds of those who might need to step off the gas for a while and take care of themselves: The Importance Of Self Care For Everyone – The Oliver’s Madhouse.
