Kids Clothing Ideal For Forest Adventures

*Advertorial With Reima*Kids Clothing Ideal For Forest Adventures The Oliver\\\'s Madhouse

This year we decided as a family that we would try to get outside as much as possible.

During the last few months the weather has been many different extremes. However, as I said before in another blog post There is No Such Thing As Bad Weather In Reima Clothing and thank goodness for that.

A few weeks back I was sent some of Reima’s clothing for the boys to try out and I am not going to lie. We were really eager. In the new batch of clothing that was sent were some fabulous items of clothing totally designed for outdoors life.

Trousers

The staple of any boys clothing items are the trousers! All children clothing has to be tough and strong to withstand what they chuck at them. But the Virtaus trousers that were great for our mixed weather.

The Virtuas trousers are designed with a zip off leg allowing them to work as both trousers and shorts! These worked really well with Joshua and for Jacob the Sway pants were fantastic.

The easy stretch material along with water repellent material and quick dry fabric that is in both trousers made for ideal adventures in the forest!

Coats

Obviously it goes without saying we need good coats and jackets in this mixed weather phase. We need the kids coats to be lightweight and water resistant and some of our favourites for forest fun for the boys were certainly from Reima.

Jacob has 2 fantastic jackets this spring/summer. Jacob’s favourite is the Tontti jacket in colour way ‘dark denim’ The striking house print was a hit from the start.

Both the Tontti jacket and the Hete Dark Denim Jacket have sealed waterproof seams. They have light insulation but are lovely and waterproof, ideal for spring and early summer weather. The coats are kid proof with safe detachable hoods and elasticated cuffs

Joshua’s favourite coat so far has been the Soft-shell Jacket ‘grus’ it blocks out wind and yet is still breathable. He says it still feels cosy with fleece on the inside and on the outside it has a fluorocarbon-free water and dirt repellent finish Teflon EcoElite®

Footwear

For any forest adventure footwear plays a part and we think the Shore and Spinner options from the Reima range would work brilliantly. Both sets of these shoes are easy to wear and easy for both kids to put on. The spinner shoes Jacob had have been worn every single day and he loves the independence of being able to get them on or off.

The shore sneakers were an ideal choice for Joshua who is really struggling right now to get the hang of shoelaces. With an adjustable toggle he can manage to get them on and off his self without being embarrassed about his struggle with laces.
