It’s been a while since we last made any kind of bucket list but with COVID hopefully, in the rearview mirror and with my work-home life balance out of whack this year, I am trying to make more plans to ensure we do more things as a family so family time is not wasted in front of the TV or screens.
Working lots of hours this last year has really taken its toll on me and my ability to want to do anything on weekends so this time I am trying to be more proactive and plan plan plan…. afterall the boys are growing quickly and wont want to spend their time with me soon enough when they get big enough to plan things with their mates.
So without further a do this is my family bucket list for 2023:
- Visit Bolsover Castle
- Strawberry Picking
- Visit The City Of Caves Nottingham
- Pick a Pumpkin
- Visit Rother Valley Country Park Sheffield
- Go Crabbing At The Seaside

- Play Crazy Golf
- Belton House Christmas Lights
- Visit A Panto
- Games Nights With The Kids
- Make Homemade Pizzas
- Revisit Cresswell Craggs, Nottinghamshire
- Go Camping

- Revisit Yorkshire Whildlife Park
- Bake Cakes With The Kids
- Head to Conkers, Derbyshire
- Go For A Picnic
- Visit Thirsk Racecourse Family Fun Day again

- Go To Sherwood Forest & Visit The Major Oak
- Visit Whitby
Lets hope we can finally tick off lots of these during 2023. As a family we really do need to spend some time together doing some fun things. So watch this space as I try to document as many of these as we can manage this year.
