As most of you know here at The Oliver’s Madhouse we have been avid fans of Playmobil for many years and one of the newest set on the block is no exception.
Having an age gap with Joshua and Jacob it means often finding toys that they will play with together can be a little tricky. However, Playmobil is one of the most amazing systems as both will play so nicely for hours together.
The Playmobil Large City Zoo that was recently sent out to us is aimed at children age 4+ and Jacob is 5 and Joshua is 9.
Even though Jacob is within the age bracket for play it is worth baring in mind that the building of it will require some adult or older child help.
Joshua is now a dab hand at putting Playmobil together and with their easy set by step instructions there has only been a couple of steps that have been referred to us to step in and help with which is obviously a parenting bonus!
Both my boys love Playmobil because of the detail of the pieces and with way it can be played with. Leaving little imaginations to do what they do best and use their imagination and play all the while developing their fine motor skills!
The Playmobil City Zoo is a massive set and includes so many fantastic animals as part of the set itself but I love the fact you can extend the set by purchasing the individual animal packs also!
Pricing wise the individual animal packs start from £6.99 upwards and the Playmobil Large City Zoo currently retails at £59.99 so there is something for every pocket.
We honestly received this a few weeks back and the boys have played with it almost daily. They have even added in the Volkswagen Camping Bus and Beetle playset they received months ago to play too!
