Star Wars is one of my all time loves and I am loving the fact that Joshua is following in my footsteps with a new-found love of all things Star Wars.
Recently we were sent out this new offering from Hasbro to see what we thought of it and for Joshua to give it a road test.
The Star Wars Interactech Imperial Stormtrooper figure is equipped with over 65 different sound effects and phrases and to make it even more special the Interactech Imperial Stormtrooper figure uses a motion sensor to respond to specific movements so if you shake him he thinks he is going to battle and if you tip him horizontally he thinks he is flying with his jetpack on that initiate flight mode!
The 12 inch figure comes well packaged and includes his blaster rifle, jet pack and demo batteries inside, which will have to be swapped over to 2 AA batteries to get the full play from him.
If you wanted to up the ante on the play front this Star Wars Interactech Imperial Stormtrooper Figure is compatible with the Hasbro Star Wars Studio FX app too (which will require a download and is only available on selected devices, full list HERE)
Joshua immediately loved the sound effects and clever ability to know how he seemed to play with it, like when he was flying “it knows Mummy”
His blaster and jetpack can be removed and put back on with ease so I didn’t need to step in and do it for Joshua which is what I would expect as the toy is aimed at 4 years +
I love how easily this figure can be played with and they havent complicated him with too many accessories either. The fact he has motion sensors that allow him to speak depending upon the motion means that the play really is left in control of the child and it doesn’t make the child play a certain way, it really does follow their lead.
It’s a lovely addition into the Star Wars range in my opinion.
