Starting Our Meal Planning Journey

Starting Our Meal Planning Journey The Oliver\\\'s MadhouseSince January I have been on a weight loss mission with Slimming World and I have loved it.

The only downside to my new way of life is that I have to plan my meals meticulously to ensure my old stuff my face habits are not creeping back in there!

In the last 8 weeks I have lost a total of 1 1/2 stones and I have found it easy thanks to meal planning!

Starting Our Meal Planning Journey The Oliver\\\'s MadhouseThe whole family are enjoying a far more balanced tea time and I am loving the fact we are saving money and no longer throwing food away.

For me I do a fortnightly meal plan as it works out better with all the family goings off. I also am now doing a weekly cooking day that if I have any of the meals on my list I can cook and then freeze to take out the night before to lift the burden of cooking when life is chaotic

This next fortnight I have found some amazing recipes from one of our favourite food blogs Pinch Of Nom. I bought their first recipe book when it was released and recently got round to buying their second one and we haven’t looked back.

In fact in the next fortnight we have only a handful of days that don’t feature their recipes and on some of those days we are trying out SpiceNTice seasonings so watch this space!

Starting Our Meal Planning Journey The Oliver\\\'s MadhouseWeek 1:

Monday: Sloppy Joes (Pinch of Nom)
Tuesday: Chicken Salad
Wednesday: Salt and Pepper Chicken Noodles (using spicentice, but using noodles instead)
Thursday: Garlic Lime Balti (Pinch of Nom)
Friday: Quorn Spag Bol
Saturday: Chicken Fajitas with lettuce wraps
Sunday: Linguine bacon pasta

Week 2

Monday: Lemon and pepper chicken (Pinch of Nom)
Tuesday: Slow cooker chicken curry
Wednesday: Persian koftas and salad
Thursday: Chilli Linguine
Friday: Beef kofta curry
Saturday: Stuffed meatballs (Pinch of Nom)
Sunday: Keema Pie (Pinch of Nom)

Today I am linking up with Katy Kicker’s Meal Plan Linky and if you click the button below you can read some further posts for meal planning inspiration.

We have just discovered Pinch of Nom and I love it. Lots of great ideas and easy to cook too. We love the cheeseburger pizzas and now do tortilla pizzas for the kids and they love them.

You have some fab meals planned. My family love Sloppy Joes but we’ve not had them in so long.
I think I am going to have to find out more about the Pinch of Nom recipes. They sound fab an I’ve heard other bloggers mention them too x
