Being a massive baby product lover it comes as no real surprise to those closest to me that the annual jaunt to The Baby Show in Birmingham is one of my favourite times of the year.
With products and brands as far as the eye can see and always something new on the market that I might have not yet have seen in real life or even heard of.
This year I had the pleasure of one of my besties, and her beautiful little Boy Luca joining us on our adventure across country to the NEC.
I could honestly write a post containing 20-30 products that I think are great and I might mention some further down the line. However these are just some of the ones from the top of my head that I loved that I am sharing with you today.
Firstly I have to saw a big thank you to Britax for our complimentary show tickets and for taking the time to show us what they have new this year.
I have been working with Britax for a little while now and on entering the stand there was one product that stood out straight away. The BABY-SAFE i-Size has had some amazingly beautiful new colour options with, coral peach and lagoon green joining the already much-loved colour selections and having seen them in the flesh I can understand why as they are beautiful!
Britax also had a super new product they were showcasing at The Babyshow and that was their new ADVANSAFIX III SICT is designed to grow with your child as it can be used for children from 9 kg to 36 kg. From 9-18kgs there is an integral harness and after that it is used with the 3 point car seat belt instead.
The ADVANSAFIX III SICT comes with SecureGuard which provides an additional 4th contact point keeping the lap belt at the correct position so all aspects of the harnessing is kept in exactly the right place. The seat also features removable SICT for additional side impact protection and its fitted with isofix and a top tether.
Next on my list of products that are worth keeping your eyes peeled for is one that I loved many moons ago but has massively grown in its product range is Bumbo!

I am sure I am not alone in having a soft spot for the original Floor Seat, which is still going strong but I loved the Bumbo Multi Seat which was on display at the Baby Show. Its taken the floor seat element and incorporated it into something that you can use in the kitchen or dining room with its integrated straps to bring baby or child to the dinner table too! Oh and it grows too as you can take out the foam insert to widen the seating area.
Next on the list when it comes to highchairs is the offering from Nomi. Designed to ergonomically support your child’s correct sitting position which is great but its key design means that it can be used on its own from approx. 2 years and into the teenage years. But if you combine your Nomi Highchair with add-ons to customise it for your baby from birth onwards.
There are several colour options for the main wooden stem unit and then there are 7 different colour choices for the seat and the add ons.
I finally managed to get visit one of my all time previous loves in all its glory.
I discovered Skip Hop with Joshua and the moment I was pregnant with Jacob I had to have me Skip Hop Zoo bags on order.
I have the Owl rucksack which I use as a nappy bag and the lunchie bag which we take with us when eating out. I am hoping to get my hands on more of their range soon. Don’t worry if owls are not your thing their zoo collection has masses of other fun and bright characters to choose from too!
One of the most important products for baby that often gets pushed back behind the excitement of the pushchairs and carseats is where baby will sleep.
Recently I was introduced to the Harrison Spinks Baby who produce a range of baby mattresses that focus on comfort and support all with the help of their award-winning springs that are inside the NaturalStart mattresses along with their natural fillings from their own 300 acre farm in Yorkshire.
It’s no surprise that I am a massive fan their NaturalStart Mattresses and I have even had the pleasure of travelling up the A1 to visit their farm and factories so watch this space and I will fill you in more on that soon.
Next on my list of products that I can recommend you consider purchasing is the genius EasyMat. We were lucky enough to review this a little while ago and loved it so much we bought more of them at The Baby Show as I can’t imagine any meals without them for Jacob.
We went from a suction bowl hating family to a suction mat loving family just with one use.
Jacob used to hate the normal bowls and he set about each meal time to uproot the bowl come hell or high water and bless him he succeeded too. My love of the EasyMat Original and Mini is that the low profile means he can see easily whats in it, he can access the compartments without knocking food back out his hands from the edges. They washes amazingly (no orange food staining) and have given me back calmer mealtimes.
So there you have it, my stand out top picks for this years show.

Disclaimer: I received complimentary tickets for the event from Britax. However all opinions are my own.
It was so lovely to see you both at the show! Fab round up x
