Last month on #RockTheBump I was starting my pregnancy journey discovering maternity and nursing underwear and after securing my first nursing bra while out shopping I was looking to buy more and find super comfortable all day wear nursing bras that would grow with me and still make me feel feminine.
A week or so ago I was asked if I would take a look at the Bravado Body Silk Seamless Nursing Bra and loved the sound of them, I have been looking for something that will be comfortable all day long and yet still be able nurse easily with once baby arrives in a few weeks.
This particular bra normally comes in 5 standard colours, black, white, latte, butterscotch and ice pink however over this festive season they have also come up with 2 beautiful shades, cherry and silver belle. I was really pleased that I was sent the cherry to review as it’s not often you can can find nursing bras in such lovely bright colours!
Having already been measured for my new size a few weeks ago I knew my size and so it did slightly throw me when I went to look at the sizing options for this bra as it’s not standard, you use the chart on the website find your size and then pick from S, M, L and XL and being honest I had reservations that this would mean that the bra would fit never mind be comfortable… how wrong could I be!
When the bra arrived I love the feel of the material and the texture is super soft. The bra also has removable moulded foam cups that provide a lining which helps cover nursing pads and help cover nipples too so it can been almost invisible when worn under clothes which I totally LOVE!
The comfort aspect of this bra I cannot tell you how much I have fallen in love it. This bra without a doubt is the most comfortable thing I have ever worn and I am utterly thrilled that I have found this before my nursing journey starts … it’s certainly going to be one less thing to stress about and being comfortable is paramount for me so top marks!
I love the easy access clips for feeding and what I ADORE is the fact this bra comes with a conversion kit so once you have finished breast-feeding you can convert the bra to a normal bra … now that to me is genius! Lets face it anything that means you can save money on top of being the most comfortable thing ever worn is amazing in my book!
The bra fitted beautifully and didn’t pull or dig over my shoulders and I loved how flat the nursing clips sat to my skin.
I really loved how effectively the under band curved to match my bump and having worn it all day it was still just as comfortable 17 hours in as it was in the first hour.
Overall I am totally in love with this bra, the comfort and fit is amazing and the fact you can adapt the bra from a nursing bra to a standard bra only adds to my love of it.
I like to be honest and I do normally like to point out the pros with the cons when I review, however I totally can’t find any con with this product at all although wanting one in every colour might become an issues for super tight husband …. Although he might prefer that to my past love of shoes!
