The Highs And Lows Of Pregnancy

*Advertorial Feature With Rennie*

The Highs And Lows Of Pregnancy The Oliver\\\'s Madhouse

This post is in conjunction with Rennie® but all thoughts are my own

Rennie tablets for heartburn and indigestion. Rennie Liquid Heartburn Relief Oral Suspension. Rennie Heartburn, Indigestion & Wind Relief Chewable Tablets. Rennie Sugar Free Spearmint, Heartburn & Indigestion tablets. Always read the label. Medicines can affect the unborn baby. Always talk to your pharmacist or doctor before taking any medicine in pregnancy.

Over the last few months it has finally dawned on me that I am no longer a mum to a baby and will never have a baby again. In light of this I have been taking a look at my three pregnancies.

All 3 of my pregnancies were so very different. With the first I carried her differently and the morning sickness was more extreme.

With Joshua’s pregnancy I had so many complications. Some more serious than others. It would be fair to say the emotions were immense with this pregnancy.

Jacob’s pregnancy seemed the easiest out of the three, although tiredness featured heavily after some sadness in the family.

Heartburn In Pregnancy

The Highs And Lows Of Pregnancy The Oliver\\\'s Madhouse

One thing that featured heavily in all my pregnancies was heartburn. Practically from finding out I was pregnant I suffered badly.

Quite early on in my first pregnancy I knew if I wanted some reprieve from the pain and discomfort heartburn during pregnancy I needed to take matters into my own hands. I know heartburn is a common side effect of pregnancy so after changing a few foods in my diet I headed to the pharmacy to talk it through.

Rennie For Heartburn

Thankfully Rennie® provides a range of fast-acting, effective treatments that help to relieve heartburn and indigestion so you can get on with your life, pregnant or not. It comes in a wide range of flavours and packs, and has been a remedy for more than 85 years so we decided this would be suitable for me.

Joys Of Pregnancy

The Highs And Lows Of Pregnancy The Oliver\\\'s Madhouse

Thankfully there were some good bits of pregnancy besides my babies. Like my hair… Wow those hormones do amazing things to my locks!

Also pregnancy tends to work wonders on my skin. I know it’s not the case for many but for me my skin is super clear. Although the downside to that after my baby is born my skin is then super spotty! Unfortunately there is nothing Rennie can do about that.

Growing another human being was by far the most amazing and joyous time of my life. I was privileged to be able to carry my babies.

Life After Pregnancy

Since having my kids, life has been chaotic, to the point where it’s like whirlwinds going off simultaneously. It has been fun, amazing and scary. But I really wouldn’t have it any other way.

What were your highs and lows of pregnancy?

I’m currently pregnant so I feel you. highs of pregnancy-feeling excited when I started to feel baby swimming and kicking inside my tummy…and lows: there are way too many, but the worst is pelvic girdle pain! x
