I don’t know about you but I’ve always dreamed about my perfect house. What the bedrooms would look like, the kitchen and what storage I would have, what my bathroom would be like. We will have our idea of perfection but how many of us actually achieve that in our lifetime?
I’m determined to get somewhere close to perfect and I’ve recently been thinking about what I’d want my perfect family bathroom to have. Of course, I have to consider my whole family when thinking about this but it is okay to think about things I personally want too, right??
Plenty Of Space
Something I’ve always struggled with when it comes to bathrooms is space. There’s always a distinct lack of space with not much room to move at all from toilet to sink to bathing space.
A Decent Bath
Whilst I do love a shower, something that really relaxes me is a bath. I’ve been looking at a roll top bath from Bathroom Luxuries – it is so luxurious and would be somewhere to go and chill out when I need half an hour to myself. A free standing bath is the epitome of luxury to me.
Storage Is Essential
Now I hate it when a bathroom hasn’t got much storage. Think about all the different things you need to store in there – shampoo and conditioner, shower gel, soap, sponges, loofahs, towels, dental care products, hair removal products – there is so much to store and usually so little space to store it all. I really want enough space to store everything that my family needs to keep in the bathroom.
Easy To Clean
Everyone hates cleaning their bathroom, right? I know I do. So I want a bathroom that is easy to clean and doesn’t have too many nooks and crannies which are hard to reach into. I’m considering a fog-free mirror so I don’t have to worry too much about streaks!
Perhaps Some Underfloor Heating
I know that would be considered the ultimate luxury but underfloor heating for the bathroom is certainly something I am thinking about. How horrible is it to step out onto an ice cold floor after a hot bath or shower? I’m surely not the only one who would love that extra level of comfort?
These are just a few things I have been considering for my perfect bathroom – what would you have in yours? I know that there’s plenty of technology that you can have in a bathroom now so that is something I am going to look into next. How about you?
