From the beginning of this pregnancy Joshua loved the idea of a baby brother and even before we found out we were in fact having a boy, Joshua had named his new sibling after his obsessive love of the time ‘Kevin Kevin Minion’
Forget cute bump names …. And out the window was his original bump name ‘pickle’ in favour of Kevin Kevin Minion … and as much I as I was not a fan, it’s certainly a name that has stuck for the duration!
With baby’s imminent arrival and the fact you can now build a minion at Build A Bear we headed to Nottingham to build Joshua his very own Kevin Kevin Minion so baby could now take on his soon to be real name.
On arriving to the shop he had 2 minions to choose from but of course Kevin was selected!
Joshua chose his Kevin sound to put in his foot and then lined up ready to fill his Minion with magical stuffing, love and even a heart that we all kissed, and when it was his turn he did a fantastic job of filling Kevin full to the top.
Next was a blow dry and brush …
Followed by a pick of a million different outfits, however being a full on minion fan, the only outfit that was good enough for Kevin Kevin Minion was this obligatory dungarees, making sure we collected the ones for Kevin and not Bob … or they would have forever have fallen down since he is more portly than Kevin.
Then it was time for his formal birth certificate!
So now Joshua is in full charge of Kevin Kevin Minion we are now free to call our bump by his real name before he arrives …. Which certainly won’t be long now!
Another final thing ticked of our list and one super happy boy … That will do for me.

N would have loved this. He loves Minions and they seem to watch the movie at after school club sometimes
