Why We Are Trying Out A Family Friendly Sleep Routine

*Sponsored by Johnson’s Baby*

Why We Are Trying Out A Family Friendly Sleep Routine The Oliver\\\'s MadhouseFor me becoming a parent brought lots of scary realities .. Such as “how the hell am I going to get this baby out of my body”, there were those that while pregnant I craved more than anything else … and the first and most emotive for me after their birth was the smell of a newborn.

Over recent months I have been privileged to attend some amazing meetings and workshops with Johnson’s Baby as one of their Johnson’s Baby Ambassadors and as such I have been learning about not only what goes into Johnson’s Baby products but also how using them can possibly help me as a parent. After all products that help care for our little ones means my life was a little easier.

Why We Are Trying Out A Family Friendly Sleep Routine The Oliver\\\'s MadhouseAs part of my journey with Johnson’s I know that their research has proven that the first 3 years of our children’s lives are absolutely crucial in their learning and brain development and all baby’s interactions help them learn.

Smell is an important factor in baby and children learning processes and often offering a delicate fragrance alongside gentle touch can help relax and calm infants so we have been trying the Johnson’s Baby 3 step sleep routine with both the boys to make bedtimes more relaxed.

It might sound obvious but a warm bath that is not too hot, along with using a delicately scented product designed just for baby is a great start. Johnson’s Baby Bedtime baby bath and body wash have been our products of choice for this.

Step 2
After bath time its time to dry off and protect delicate skin further adding in some extra moisture with the Johnson’s Baby Bedtime lotion and cream and although Joshua who is 7 no longer wants a massage he is happy to have me still pop some on him before I massage Jacob who still loves a relaxing massage … especially his toes!

Quiet time, we get the kids dry and into PJ’s in the living room so turning down the lights and using low level lamp lights makes for a visual marker that bedtime is approaching. Then once the boys have had a bedtime drink its time for bed and a story or 2.

How do your bedtime fare with your little ones?
