Give Your Business a Christmas Gift

Give Your Business a Christmas Gift The Oliver\\\'s MadhouseWhat do you want for Christmas? Socks, a scarf, a new car perhaps? Well how about a better performing business for a start.

The festive period will come and go and before you know it, you’re back in the craziness of New Year and work.

Now is the time, as you start to wind down for the holidays, to start planning on how you’re going to relaunch with a bang in the New Year. In this blog, we take a look at a few ideas.

Give Your Business a Christmas Gift The Oliver\\\'s MadhouseMake Your Social Media Work Smarter

Perhaps you’re someone who tries to remember to tweet or post every day. You use hashtags but you’re not always sure why and your social media is far from joined up. It’s time to make a change and get your social media working harder and smarter for your business.

Give Your Business a Christmas Gift The Oliver\\\'s MadhouseThe algorithms that Facebook, Instagram and Twitter use seem to change at a relentless pace. We recommend using a package like Hootsuite to help organise your social media postings and more importantly analyse the results so you can make those changes and little tweaks that help you reach more of your audience.

Yes, there are free versions of these packages but to get your socials performing well this is an investment well worth making.

Advertising

The same goes for your advertising. If you’ve not got a coherent advertising strategy, it’s time to take a look at how your budget might be stretched to incorporate some advertising on social media platforms and across search engines to allow your business to be found more quickly.

You’ll eventually be looking at Moving towards Google Ads automation as part of your overall strategy. If all this sounds complicated, perhaps it might be time to bring in a marketing guru to help give your business a clear steer in the right direction and help you decide where the most effective platforms are to spend money and where is better avoided.

Your Working Life

And what about you? How might you be able to improve your working life? Are you up against it because the office is a little badly organised? Could you be more efficient in planning your working day? Don’t start the New Year in quite the same way that you ended the last. This is your chance to clean up your working act and make some changes that are going to lead to a better run, less stressful working environment and hopefully an improved work life balance.

If all you want for Christmas is for your business to work better then take some time over the festive season to stop and think about how some small changes to your social media campaign, some well-placed advertising and a few improvements to your own approach to work might help your business.

Go back in the New Year refreshed and ready to take on the challenges of the next year with an enthusiastic attitude and some clear goals to changing your business for the better.
