Thanking My Lucky Stars The Big Screen Is Back #AD

*Advertorial Feature With Showcase Cinemas*

Thanking My Lucky Stars The Big Screen Is Back #AD The Oliver\\\'s MadhouseOver the last year there have been many things that I have missed. Friends, Family and quality time enjoying places I previously loved.

However for me it hasn’t been the pubs and restaurants I have particularly missed. Although don’t get me wrong who doesn’t like a meal cooked by someone else and not having to wash up.

The biggest thing for me to have missed has been the cinema trips.

We managed to sneak in a couple while they were open last year and even made our first outing as family when lockdown released last year to our local Cinema at Showcase de Lux Nottingham.

The big screen is also somewhere I go with friends regularly normally and it has been the one place I have been super eager to get to visit now we are on the next stage of the UK roadmap back to normal.

Thanking My Lucky Stars The Big Screen Is Back #AD The Oliver\\\'s MadhouseThis weekend we headed back to our favourite cinema to finally get back to the big screen and spend some much needed quality time together with the kids as a family.

Thanking My Lucky Stars The Big Screen Is Back #AD The Oliver\\\'s MadhouseObviously we have been trying to follow the COVID restrictions through lockdown and so since we are still trying to follow the guidelines and be more aware of spaces that are also running with immensely high COVID procedures in place we knew we would be as safe as we can be while still under the gaze of a pandemic.

Last year we were thrilled to discover what procedures were in place at Showcase Cinemas to keep its visitors as safe as possible with strict sanitising of the screens and seating areas along with one way systems and distancing enforced in public areas such as the main hall and queuing areas for food.

We arrived at Showcase de Lux Nottingham today and were super excited to break our lockdown bubble for some big screen viewing of the much waited for Peter Rabbit 2 film. The weather was horrifically windy and the rain was coming down but all 4 of us were excited to get this bit of normal back.

Just as before post COVID lockdowns a lovely member of staff checks you in on the door and lets you know where to go. We had tickets we needed to collect but after speaking with a member of staff it seems our tickets that were organised on our behalf got mixed up by a third party and nothing to do with the Nottingham team but within minutes the super helpful manager arrived and rectified the problem super swiftly.

In fact he was so helpful he even showed us some of how the cinema worked! Although thats for sharing another time as I honestly had my mind blown with information on that one!

Thanking My Lucky Stars The Big Screen Is Back #AD The Oliver\\\'s MadhouseWhat we have continued to love about Showcase Cinemas is its dedication to customer satisfaction and its unwavering dedication to the overall customer experience.

After a super exciting visit to look at some of the behind the scenes stuff (obviously following strict COVID restrictions) we headed to the refreshment stand and ordered our salted popcorn, drinks and snacks and made out way to screen 11 where we were in premium seats which were right at the top and with their own little balcony making the trip feel even more special as it felt  like a private viewing area. In fact we loved it so much I think we will be booking in there again next time!

The film was epic and all 4 of us loved it from the start. It was the first time in a while that we all felt so relaxed!

Thanking My Lucky Stars The Big Screen Is Back #AD The Oliver\\\'s MadhouseI have now got a list of films that are on my radar for some friend trips to the big screen with A Quiet Place Part II, Spiral and The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It. And while the trailers were on the kids have spotted Tom & Jerry The Movie and Croods 2.

Thank you Showcase de Lux Nottingham for making us feel so welcome and for top customer service! … I’ll be back
