Thank you for every single person that has supported my blog over the last 3.5 years and in particular over the last year throughout my pregnancy.
When I first started blogging I was super grateful for my first ever reader (Thanks Mum) and I have been so grateful for every single reader ever since.
I am not a natural writer, my spelling is pants, my grammar is ropey at best but what I do have in abundance is honesty for the good the bad and the ugly about pregnancy, family and life in general and I think this is why I am still blogging all these years on.
My blog is an immensely diverse place and writing my thoughts and feeling down over the years has been throughly cathartic, when my daughter left to live with her Dad the support I received at knowing we weren’t alone and that blended families can be hard work was mind-blowing.

I love that by writing and being honest here on my little corner of the internet I can make a difference to other people and nothing more proved this to me than when I wrote about my ongoing battle with SPD many moons ago and its follow up post still receives interaction from women in pain today and from that we have been able to virtually support each other ever since.
Last week I received some amazing news, that you my wonderful readers had supported my blog entry in The MAD Blog Awards and had been voting your little hearts out so my little piece of the internet had been shortlisted in the pregnancy category …

I think pretty much ever since hearing the news in the dark hours of the morning while feeding my now baby their have been some tears shed as I have felt overwhelmed with thanks.
Just to give you some context if you don’t happen to be a blogger there are 2 sets of prestigious awards that most bloggers dream of being shortlisted into and although I had been shortlisted in the other awards many years ago the MAD Blog Awards had remained elusive. The easiest way of describing the MAD’s is to think Oscars for bloggers and you get the idea on how big these awards can be for us.
So thank you from the very bottom of my heart for getting me this far in what can be a really competitive category, however I still need your help, voting has opened again to find a winner for each category and I would love it if you could click on the image below and vote for me again. (It only takes a minute)
If you are new to my blog you may have missed some of my pregnancy posts but I have covered a wide range of topics and I have popped a small selection of them below for you to read if you would like too.

Oops Moments Are Not Just For The Pregnant
